Request API Development

To request Integration Services team to develop your API, use the Interface Request form on the ServiceNow Employee Self Help Page at https://ucsf.service-now.com/ess/home.do

To access the form:

1. Go to the ServiceNow Employee Self Help Page at https://ucsf.service-now.com/ess/home.do

2. Select the Consulting And Development option in the Order Specific IT Services section

3. Click on "Interface Request" and the form will be displayed

4. Select Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)/API Manager as the request type

Notes on completing the form:

  • Required fields are indicated with a red asterisk.
  • Requester Name and Technical Contact will default to the name of the user who initiated the Interface Request form (but can be changed as needed)
  • Attachments can be added by clicking the paperclip icon in the top right of the Interface Request form or by clicking "Add Attachment"¬†at the bottom of the Interface Request form.
  • Once the form has been completed, the user should click "Order Now" at the bottom of the Interface Request form.

What happens next?

  • An acknowledgement page will be displayed with the RITM number.
  • An e-mail will be sent to the requester from ServiceNow with the RITM number.
  • An e-mail will also be sent to the Integration Services team and they will respond to the request.
